T-Mobile's HD2 to get Windows Phone 7?

T-Mobile opted to give the world a tease just a few days before MWC. On T-Mobile’s Twitter account, they ask, “If you think you know the HD2? Well if you think you do, think again.” So what does this all mean? Here is what we know. The HD 2 is supposed to launch on T-Mobile USA some time in March, it already has Windows Phone 6.5, and was rumored to get 6.5.3 soon. We saw the HD 2 for the States received a bit of a spec bump over the European version, so we don’t think the hardware will be too much different from what we have already seen. If T-Mobile is not refering to Windows Phone 6.5.3, could they be referring to Windows Phone 7? MWC’s Windows Phone 7 clamoring is steadily increasing and if there is any Windows Phone device with specs that can handle Windows Phone 7, it would be the HD2. We will keep our fingers crossed in hopes that this is the case. We also will continue to let everyone know what Windows Phone 7 is as it unfolds.

HTC Legend Spotted in the Wild.

Photobucket

A real life Shot of the HTC legend was rounded up today by the nice People down at Endgadget. The Legend seems to be going for a new style here as it looks. Visually I see, Bold, and simple. The Home Button it looks like the only button on the front of the Device, making it very clear that HTC was going for simplicity and cleanliness just like our parents wanted our rooms right?
As you can see on the rear the Bold HTC logo, camera with LED Flash. This is a Pre Production model and is made of an aluminum material.
This is all we have on HTC’s legend. Stay tuned and you shall be updated.

HTC HD2 Gets In On the Kickstand Craze That's Sweeping the Nation [Kickstands]

Kickstands are enjoying something of a renaissance lately as tablets have jumped to the forefront of everyone’s attention, so it’s only natural that the HD2, the most tabletesque of smartphones, is getting a combination kickstand/battery pack of its own. The battery definitely adds some bulk to the skinny HD2, but if you’re looking to take advantage of its 800×480 screen to do some video-watching on the go, then an extended battery and a sweet kickstand are two things that could suit you well. Taking part in the zeitgeist will only cost you £41.11 when the battery pack is available in March. [Cool Smart Phone via Engadget]

Finally 1.6

Whew. If providers and/or HTC can’t do a decent job themselves, I’l have to take matters into my own hands. Thanks to a couple handy guides on the net, I now have a HTC Dream with Android 1.6. Google Goggles, here I come.

It’s really so much better now. And I didn’t even get any crashes or errors during the installation. Yes, it was long and difficult (I’m not a tech wiz, and those guides are a bit confusing at times – I had to follow three different ones to get all the info I needed), but at least I now have unlocked the full potential in my phone. Now if only I could do something about the battery… maybe I should get that 1700mha.
